Wishing you and yours a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year 2021!

This contest in organized by Postcardsmarket.com. If you are participating, you agree that your First name and country of origin will be published together with your story on postcardsmarket blog site.
What you have to do: tell others a fun, interesting, intriguishing, special, comic, out of ordinary and original (of course) story about something that happened to you in 2020 and is related (somehow) with the postal system, postcards, postcard collection, postcrossing, anyhting :) This year - 2020 - was entirely an "special" year, so let's make it fun!
Your text (minimum 2-3 phrases) - will be judged by an international jury :) and we will have a Ranking:

1st place - voucher code of 50 euro (free shipping granted) - to be spent in our shop
2st place - voucher code of 30 euro (free shipping granted) - to be spent in our shop
3st place - voucher code of 20 euro (free shipping granted) - to be spent in our shop
All participants - will receive a postcard written and stamped (their wish) sent from Romania - only for minimum text and also must be related with postal system somehow - the jury will decide as well here.

The jury is composed of 7 international Members:

Each jury member will give a rank from 1 to 100 to each story (100 highest) - we will look for a story to be interesting, to be original, to be a good story :) and you can participate with more than only one story - every story will be an "entry" for our contest.
We will announce the winners on Sunday, January 3nd, 2021 - via email and also on our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Postcardsmarket. You have time for registering via this google form till 31st of Dcember 2020, evening time in Europe - 21:00 Bucharest time (CET + 2:00)
Via this form we will collect also your email address - to have the possibility to communicate with you, data will not be given to a third party (we never give to a third party any of personal data that we handle - also in our shop)
Tha participation is not conditioned by any purchase made by you in our shop. If you'll enter in the contest with more stories - you can receive only one postcard sent for participation.

On 28 March 2020 we plan to meet some postcrossers in Sofia, Bulgaria. But... due coronavirus situation - we meet online - and we spent together 3 and half hours - it was a great time with sharing experiences!

Quite a "Postcrossing meeting" - going to be the first ON LINE meeting, and the Idea is to meet and know each other, so when the virus problem will be solved - we can meet for real and sign postcards!!!

The meeting will start at 11:00 AM EET (local Bulgaria time) – 10:00 AM CET time – 9:00 AM UK Time

The meeting is planned to be closed after 4-5 hours maximum (imagine if we were in Sofia, we would dedicate whole day for this meeting)

1. We will start presenting each other – allocated time 5-7 minutes for each person.

2. After all introductions, Irina and Velizara will make for us a virtual tour of Sofia with places and monuments that we will see also for real when we will duplicate this meeting into an offline one

3. We think that during this meeting we can (finally) talk one to other, and also doing else than signing cards. So please prepare for the online meeting a piece of paper (can help for sure, if you are not used to talk freely) with some words about you, like: - Do you have kids? Did they like and enjoy your passion for postcards? - What about your husband/wife? (when available) - How you start postcrossing? can you remember the person who recommend you that? - What is your current job? (during normal times - not coronavirus times) …. Think at something very special to be shared with others, regarding postcards passion.

And this one was the county distribution presence :) 

And Yes - we will have also a card to be sent! They were prepared to be sent from Sofia, Bulgaria, but now they will be sent from our countries.

This year, Romanian Post make this contest - scholar project with participation of scholars aged 6 to 18 years - in order to proper celebrate International World Post Day - on 9th October.
