A full mailbox is a happy mailbox! World through postcards, postcrossing and covers

Direct Swaps

" I love postcards written, stamped, postmarked, sent through postal system!" and special postmark or Maxi-cards are welcomed!!!

Here is how I see a PERFECT POSTCARD, which I enjoy when I receive (those who want to swap with me are asked to read and comply those from below):

Size matters! I keep my cards in albums, and I am very, very sad when they do not fit in. So the size of a postcard must not be higher than 15 cm x 10,5 cm. (Classic size, fit in A6 size / C6 Envelope)
● Not sent in envelope. I know that some collectors prefer that the postcard come in envelope to come safe, not wet, dirty, folded or so on. I prefer my postcard to be real circulated through postal system.
●It is sent from the place it illustrates or at least from the country concerned (I don't see why I would receive a postcard from Bulgaria with pictures of Antarctica)
● not a multiview card
● It is "official", eg. was printed in a printing house, isn't handmade, isn't listed on your own printer, or on photo paper
● as many stamps as possible, always commemorative preferred than definitive carefully prepared before sending, not glued one on another. Stamps are not glued on exact margin of the card, in order to be destroyed during their travel, but they have 2-3 millimeters till any margin of the card.
● a clear postmark (indeed, that doesn't depend on the sender, but in some places, may make such request at the post office clerk). Also, I know that in some countries it is possible to ask for a Manual or Handy Stamp/postmark, not a machine cancelled. Please – ask for me a handy postmark.
● with specified place and date of dispatch (the postmark isn't always clear)
● The text and the address (if is possible) are handwritten
● on the back are written a few sentences about the picture, about the sender or about what he wants to write, without cliches or standard phrases (I must mention that I post on my blog also the back of the postcards, but if the text seems to me too personally or the sender simply doesn't want to appear what he wrote on the blog, will not appear). Those cards with “Happy Postcrossing!” Or “I hope you’ll like the postcard” don’t say much about the card…

Regarding Postcards, most liked theme:
- Women: all kind from sexy, erotic, nude to glamour or pin-ups, from classic photo to art
- Postal Service: Post office, postal workers, UPU, 9 October, Postal system- but only something specific for your country, not "general" themes or vintage images without any connection with your country...
- Royal Families over the world & United Kingdom Royal Family (most liked "young UK Royal" family... )
- traditional people - traditional costumes (wedding, religious ceremony and folk costumes)
- New and Vintage Cars;
- Transport (ships, trains, planes, so on)

Regarding Covers:
Size matters: C6 size is most preferred - I have albums where I keep my collection
Europa CEPT theme is most preferred (starting with 2015 - date of issue)
Covers made with mini-sheets or all stamps from a series: Postal system and postal service related, Famous People, transport.
Clear postmarks on the stamps, and another daily postmark near the stamps (one daily postmark not covering any stamp)
Handwritten address clear written
Priority sticker if available.
